A small gain in sound quality over the previous editions. But DUMB packaging. I felt ripped off, and I didn't pay anything close to full price. I had the Parker Verve master takes box but traded it in for the compelete set because I did want to hear the alternates, but I have no interest in Billie Holiday alternate takes, so this is an attractive colleciton.
