ghost of miles Posted November 28, 2005 Report Posted November 28, 2005 But oddly enough, I couldn't get to Jim Dye's forum... anybody else have that problem? Quote
brownie Posted November 28, 2005 Report Posted November 28, 2005 Had the same problem here. Did Jim Dye close the Backroom? Quote
Jim Dye Posted November 28, 2005 Report Posted November 28, 2005 The Back Room is still open. I was able to get in for a short time this morning, but now it's unaccessible. I have submitted a helpdesk ticket with my webhost. AFAIK, this is completely unrelated to the Organissimo Jazz Forums being down. ????? Quote

Aggie87 Posted November 28, 2005 Report Posted November 28, 2005 Does anybody else's "clock" on the board seem off, by about 6 hours? I checked my settings, and it is correct. Quote

Jim Alfredson Posted November 28, 2005 Report Posted November 28, 2005 Looks like the server's clock is messed up. I'll be calling support soon to see if 1) they can credit my account since it was down for 7 hours and 2) what the deal is with the clock. Quote
Noj Posted November 28, 2005 Report Posted November 28, 2005 The last few nights when I've been accessing the organissimo forums from my Mac it has forced my internet to quit several times. Anyone else have this problem? Quote
J.A.W. Posted November 28, 2005 Report Posted November 28, 2005 (edited) The last few nights when I've been accessing the organissimo forums from my Mac it has forced my internet to quit several times. Anyone else have this problem? Same here with my PC, I thought my broadband connection or the modem was to blame. By the way, I'm now getting multiple new post notifications... Jim Alfredson Posted November 28, 2005 Report Posted November 28, 2005 And the clock is still off, I see. Back to the phone. Quote

rostasi Posted November 28, 2005 Report Posted November 28, 2005 The last few nights when I've been accessing the organissimo forums from my Mac it has forced my internet to quit several times. Anyone else have this problem? Same here on a Mac - it crashes at random only while at the O-Forum - just figured it was growing out of it's old shoes. Quote
mikeweil Posted November 28, 2005 Report Posted November 28, 2005 Couldn't get in here this morning - accessing the backroom was no problem, only had to register once more. I experienced crashes last night. I thought it was my old machine .... Quote
BFrank Posted November 28, 2005 Report Posted November 28, 2005 Yeah, clock off here, too.........by 6 hours. Glad it's not just me. Quote
BERIGAN Posted November 29, 2005 Report Posted November 29, 2005 I am now pretending I am in Madrid, and all is well.....oh, and if you haven't changed your skins to green, do so, even if it is just for a minute! Quote
7/4 Posted November 29, 2005 Report Posted November 29, 2005 Clock still messed up, right? Yeah....I just went and adjusted it in my profile. Quote
gslade Posted November 29, 2005 Report Posted November 29, 2005 Yep I had to set mine to Mid Atlantic to get the correct time Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted November 30, 2005 Report Posted November 30, 2005 Sometimes I just gotta take things into my own hands. I've never had an issue with tech support, but after emailing them several times, staying on hold for way too long and no one coming to the phone, I decided to figure out how to change my server's time by myself and by golly I did it! Google is a wonderful thing! Quote
