After 30 years of driving through "the ribbed north end of

Jersey with its isolate lakes and valleys, its deaf-mutes, thieves

old names and promiscuity between devil-may-care men who have taken

to railroading out of sheer lust of adventure-- and young slatterns, bathed

in filth from Monday to Saturday to be tricked out that night

with gauds from imaginations which have no peasant traditions to give them

character but flutter and flaunt sheer rags succumbing without

emotion save numbed terror" I got hit with a DWI charge. I'm

not proud of it, but it was the anniversary of the death of my beloved parot Kitty.

Please get the help you need. I don't want to hear that one of my fellow board members killed someone in a drunk driving accident.

Bertrand.

I'm way ahead of you fellow board member. I've arranged to be admitted to the Giuseppe Zangara Pavillion at the Joe Mooney Wing of the Lou Costello Center at the William Carlos Williams Outreach Program of St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson NJ.

Yeah. It's always safe at home. Drinking too much, thinking too much, too much time spent on the computer, too much music, much too much. But, all safe when you're already at home.

No joke, In Jacksonville, I kinda sorta ran a red light (I say bumper was in the intersection when the light was yellow) and the cop that pulled me over....had liquor on his breath! It was nighttime, and had visions of him thinking I knew he had been drinking, and that I would have to disappear. So, he came back after checking out my "record" for about 10 minutes(And me really to peel out if he said anything strange) he handed me back my info, and he was just reeking of smoke...cigarette smoke. Good, I would live to see another sunrise......

In New Jersey a DWI is going to cost you nearly $10,000.00 over the next 3 or 4 years !

Voting for Demopublicans will cost you a lot more than the $10,000 ....(sorry, I couldn't help a wise-ass answer)!!!!

I hope that your first DWI will be your last. Good to read that you're trying to take care of yourself.

When did he post he was trying to take care of himself?

Works for me. :eye::eye:

I thought that was a joke.

I'm trying to enjoy this WKCR Hendrix tribute, but I guess I can Google...

Hospital exists.

Of course it does.

But, obviously the rest is all bullshit. I'm not even sure the hospital has a rehab center.

Maybe I'm missing something.
