Uncle Skid
Does anyone know how the Japanese versions compare to the Verve "Master Editions"? Bonus tracks, sound quality, liner notes, etc. I already have Clifford Brown and Max Roach (Master Edition), and I'm really torn between picking up the rest of these on the box set, or additional individual Master Editions, or by buying the Japanese versions offered here. The price is attractive, but I'm just confused with too many options!

I was tempted to go for these myself, but just don't want to spare the $70 right now. Hans usually offers excellent stuff. I have the domestic versions, but if he had caught me at a more financially expansive time, then I could have done it. I don't know, Skid. I tend to like Japanese masterings. Should be worth it.
