GregN
Blues Alley I've always wanted to see the nation's capital. I may just tag along. Who can I pick up along the way?
Jim Alfredson
I've only been once. This will be fun!!! Bertrand, are you in?
Jim Alfredson
Is it capitol or capital in this case? I always get those messed up.
RDK
Fuck! Nothing personal guys, but i'm in D.C. next week. So I'll be missing you up and down the Eastern seaboard...
Alexander Hawkins
The nation's capital, I believe. The seat of government is on Capitol Hill. I think.
bertrand
Blues Alley, also known as 'Dues Alley' Barring unforeseen circumstances, I will be there. I'll get the word out to other board members. Bertrand.
Son-of-a-Weizen
I caught that shocking piece about Second Chance Body Armor on the network news last night. Maybe I'll raid the White House dumpsters for a vest, then swing on by and see if the media fuss and fingerpointing is gounded in reality......or just more overreaction on their part. bertrand
I had a thought. If you guys are in town earlier that day, or the next day, I could take you to the Library of Congress to check out all of the copyright deposits I've been collecting. There's some Larry Young, Big John Patton, Lonnie Smith, Grant Green and other goodies. Bertrand. Ron S
Congrats on BLUES ALLEY! Now, WTF is up with PHILLY??? You've got Boston, NYC, Pittsburgh, and DC, and you're missing the FRICKIN' ORGAN JAZZ TRIO CAPITAL OF THE UNIVERSE. Not to mention that Philly's a bigger market than all those other places 'cept NYC.
Jim Alfredson
I'd love to play Philly. But it just hasn't happened yet. Be patient, young Skywalker.
Ron S
I'm not sure how much longer I can hold out.

Ron S
But not strong enough to get you guys a Philly gig. My guess is you would make NYC if it wasn't on a Sunday? Exactly. And I'd even stop off in Queens first for one of your delectable dinners.
GregN
Man, you guys are getting an awesome tour lined up. Congrats! ← Thank you Soul. Btw, do you guys do Jazz and/or Blues down there? cuz, it would be cool to get both organissimo and Root Doctor down there next year. I mean if you guys like that stuff. You got to know I am teasin' about my question. The music down there is awesome. In fact, with the blues in particular, I saw a four day festival out in CA with Texas based blues icons. It was smokin'! Vast talent pool for sure! And Houston and Dallas have their jazz studs as well. It would be an honor to play Texas. g
mr jazz
Congrats on Blues alley! I'll put it on the calendar. I only wish I could make the Wayne Shorter show tonight.
GregN
Congrats on Blues alley! I'll put it on the calendar. I only wish I could make the Wayne Shorter show tonight. ← That is great news! The part about you comin to the org show, not the other part. That part blows. I saw Wayne and Herbie at Michigan theater about 8 years ago; front row and centered. Awesome and then some... 7/4
Dang, I was thinking of driving down, I don't know about driving that far in Feb. weather. Maybe I could take the train if it's close to the venue.
GregN
And there goes Philly . . . . ← Actually, that makes Philly more likely. Again, many clubs are booked until early next year. So, a Philly gig in November was lookin' bleak.
