Brad Posted September 28, 2005 Report Posted September 28, 2005 I'll be getting both of these. Even with McMaster, it's better than not having it at all. Quote

Ron S Posted September 28, 2005 Author Report Posted September 28, 2005 wouldya stop already, I have wedding to pay for! 45 days and counting... Who needs a reception and a honeymoon, when you and your new bride could just hang out and listen to new Mosaics? Quote
mgraham333 Posted September 28, 2005 Report Posted September 28, 2005 We're going to NYC for the honeymoon. A stop by the Village Vanguard seems in order! I pre-ordered the Selects anyway... Quote
Michael Fitzgerald Posted September 28, 2005 Report Posted September 28, 2005 Man, you really missed the boat on this - go to the Mosaic webpage and click on "wedding registry" - all your family and friends could have been adding to your collection. Now you'll probably get blenders and plates when the platters you really desire aren't Wedgewood or Lenox..... Mike Quote
RDK Posted September 28, 2005 Report Posted September 28, 2005 I know Mike's joking about the Mosaic wedding registry (not that it isn't a great idea), but I did pretty well last X-mas after leaving a couple of Mosaic catalogs with my mom and sister... with a few items circled of course. Quote
DukeCity Posted September 28, 2005 Report Posted September 28, 2005 Not exactly a wedding registry, but you could direct your loved ones here to start cashing in on those Mosaics. Quote
mgraham333 Posted September 29, 2005 Report Posted September 29, 2005 I know. I know. We decided to go the more traditional route. Quote
Brad Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 I called Mosaic and the Selects are due in about two weeks. Quote
bertrand Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 Is Matt dropping a subtle hint? Bertrand. Quote
mgraham333 Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 No hint intended. Although all board members should consider themselves invited. Quote
mgraham333 Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 I just listened to the soundclip again for the Tolliver select. I'm really excited about this one. Quote
dova Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 Matt: Do you need a Jazz Trio or Quartet for your wedding. I can't believe we don't know each other being from Tulsa but I haven't made many posts. Too busy listening and playing Live Jazz. Seriously, I can hook you up with Jazz entertainment and even play drums for you. Best Wishes and remember that after you are married, each cd you buy you have to buy something nice for your wife in return. Dova (John Dellavedova) Quote
Michael Fitzgerald Posted October 10, 2005 Report Posted October 10, 2005 In looking over the Mosaic webpages for these, I was a little disappointed to see several small errors - Alberquerque Social Swim (Twardzik) - unless there's a good reason for this: the city is spelled Albuquerque That session is listed as December 1954 but Dan Skea determined it was recorded on October 27, 1954 and it's even listed in the Lord CDROM 5.0 that way. Crepescule With Nellie (Monk/Coltrane) - this is a long-standing error. The correct spelling of the word is Crepuscule! Hoping that perhaps these won't be wrong in the actual issues. Mike Quote
