Thanks everybody. It was a fine birthday, with Mom springing for a new, super-nice guitar just like this one except the electronics are supposed to be better:

and since car problems kept us from going to the B.B. King Blues club for dinner, my wife made it up by getting tickets for Ron White's January appearance in Fort Lauderdale which should be awesome.

And what might be best of all is that later this week my buddy Tom will be sharing a pro-shot video of the Ray Brown Trio. Yes, 12 1/2 years after he died, I'll get some new, never-heard Gene Harris. :party:
