Jazzmoose Posted July 7, 2003 Report Posted July 7, 2003 Brad Pitt signs to play....aw, you read it! Quote
Alexander Posted July 7, 2003 Report Posted July 7, 2003 I think that Pitt will make a pretty good Cap. A decent Captain America film should spend no more than the first 30 minutes on Cap's origin and on his activites during WWII. The rest of the film should be given over to the whole "Man Out of Time" thing. Think about it: Cap had a hard time when he was revived in the 60s, less than 20 years after the end of the war! Imagine what Cap will make of life in the 21st century! By the way, you forget that Brando did play a comic book character: He was Jor-El in "Superman the Movie". Quote
Out2Lunch Posted July 7, 2003 Report Posted July 7, 2003 Wow what a come-back Marvel is making these days. Rising from the ashes of bankrupcy like a phoenix. I am a former shareholder Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted July 7, 2003 Report Posted July 7, 2003 They should hire no-name actors for these roles. Remember Chris Reeve and Superman? One of the reasons he took the project so seriously is he realized it was his big break. Actors who are already stars playing these characters play them as if it doesn't matter because it doesn't. Just my two cents... Quote
Michael Weiss Posted June 8, 2006 Report Posted June 8, 2006 Marvel's executive editor is moving into my building this month. Quote
