Some folks here love soulive, some like them, and well, let's just say, many folks here are passionate about their music and they claim to "despise" them. Me, I saw them open for DMB once, couldn't really hear them at the time. But heard a cut on the radio afterwards and enjoyed it. I like organissimo better, but I am biased. I will go check out their website however. See what the competition is up to... Greg Quote

scottb Posted September 2, 2005 Report Posted September 2, 2005 (edited) And that is one of the great tragedies of the music industry. Your music would have to get worse in order for you to be more successful. If you guys added a DJ, a rapper and some hootchie dancers you could be HUGE! Edited September 2, 2005 by scottb Quote

CJ Shearn Posted September 2, 2005 Report Posted September 2, 2005 hey Joe, if you hook your guitar up to a cat or a toaster it can make cool sounds. I hear Roland has been producing a cat pickup to hook up to your guitar and trigger various kitty sounds. Quote
Joe G Posted September 2, 2005 Report Posted September 2, 2005 Hooking up a cat to the toaster also produces some sick sounds. Quote
CJ Shearn Posted September 2, 2005 Report Posted September 2, 2005 yeah, I heard that Pat will be doing that for the next group thing, hooking up one of his guitar synths to a cat toaster pick up Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted September 2, 2005 Report Posted September 2, 2005 For what its worth, I think Soulive is very good at doing what they do. What they do gets monotonous to me, but what do I know? I give any trio centered around organ that can achieve that level of success major props. Quote
