B. Goren.
In light of the long list of future releases, I must ask you this question: What will be your next purchase from Mosaic??? Or maybe you plan to buy another set and not one of the future releases??? I am waiting for two of the new releases: Charles Tolliver and Oliver Nelson. What about you??? Edited August 27, 2005 by B. Goren.
sidewinder
I'm still procrastinating over Kid Ory but the Jazz Crusaders, Oliver Nelson and Charles Tolliver for sure.

tjobbe
I try to limit my expenses to max 2 Mosaic's for the rest of 2005 and one will be definetely the Crusaders Set as a Christmas present for myself. My credo: You need to be good to yourself... For the second one, I currently checking to buy one of the Selects, either Dizzy Reece or the Andrew Hill set, both on the short list. The Oliver Nelson is a maybe as I’m not really sure if that adds any value to my collection. Cheers, Tjobbe

John Tapscott
Farmer/Golson Jazztet plus the Johnny Richards Select (early '06) Longer term - The Basie Verve set, the Buddy Rich small group set, and possibly the Jazz Crusaders set (I am totally unfamiliar with the JC's music, so I'm really looking forward to peoples' comments on that set). jazzbo
Probably the Columbia Jazz set. . . in due time.
Edward
I really want the Farmer/Golson/Jazztet set, but the two times that I purchased more recently released sets I was rewarded soon after with older sets that I wanted being added to the running low/last chance list. Of the older sets, the Max Roach set is probably furthest up the queue.
GA Russell
Of the older sets, the Gerald Wilson box. Of the newer sets, the Johnny Richards Select. Of the future sets, the McCoy Tyner Select.
Quincy
Probably the Hot Record Society, with a couple of Selects thrown in (likely Pepper & Weston.) Seems like every time I'm ready to pull the trigger I get sidetracked by OJC runs, Jazz In Paris sales 'n' such. Not that I'm complaining... Kalo
Must haves: Hill Select Pepper Select Farmer/Golson Also interested in: Dizzy Reece Select Pullen/Adams Select I haven't bought a Mosaic in a long time. (Last purchase: Weston Select) Edited August 27, 2005 by Kalo
JohnT
I'm trying to guess ahead what might be the next OOP Mosaic. I already have the Roach so I just picked up the Johnny Hodges -- set #4667 (out of, I think, a 7500 run). Looks like the Hodges might get past the 5000 mark at least!! Love the Hodges set! As for the future, the Jazz Crusaders might be next -- although I may have to look at the list again and try to envision what might go OOP down the line! Brad
For me, it will be the: PJ Trios Tolliver Oliver Nelson Chu Berry (the one must for me) Sidney Bechet Mulligan As far as the older sets, I've already gotten what I wanted except for the Eldridge and the Basie. BFrank
Nice to see all the interest in the Tolliver set. I'll probably get it even though I think I have most of the material already (I'm waiting to see the discography). I like his stuff too much to pass up fresh remasters. paul secor
Considering: Mobley - have 2/3 to 3/4 on LP, so I'm really on the fence on this one. Max Jazztet Pepper Select When they're out - definitely the Chu Berry and the Bechet
