Jim Alfredson
Pistons win two games in a row by coming back from at least 17 down. The Milwaukee game was crazy enough, but to do it against the Suns? These Pistons are getting just downright silly. Looks like 'Sheed will be suspended for one game for getting his 16th tech yesterday, though. Good thing the next game is against the Hornets. What's up with Dallas?! They've been getting smacked around by the East! Lebron vs. D-Wade was entertaining. I didn't see the game, but the highlights were incredible. You can't tell me that wouldn't be a great playoff series.
Noj
The Pistons can turn on the defense seemingly at will. I don't see any team stopping them this year. Pistons over the Spurs in 6. How 'bout Tayshaun's dunk on the lob pass in the 4th quarter? Ferocious.
Jim Alfredson
It seems to be, as Flip Saunders said in the postgame interviews, not that they can "turn it on" at will, but that they all have a very high understanding of the game and can adjust at halftime to the weaknesses of the opposing squad. It's almost like they use the first half as a trial run, to figure out the opponent, and then in the third quarter they systematically take that opponent apart. md655321
Hopefully with yesterday's game Chauncey Billups can gain some ground on the MVP race. He is just unbelievable. He just sets everyone up all game long, and then just takes over if he needs too. And does it so calmly. I particularly enjoyed that 3 pointed from about 6-10 feet behind the line. Jim Alfredson
Now, the bigger question is, will Shaq get fined and/or suspended for his comments after the Heat got their ass handed to them by the Nets? http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2395444 I don't think he'll get suspended, but he deserves it after calling out, by name, the refs. Yeah, Shaq deserves a suspension. Sheed gets suspended for objecting to a call on a teammate, what the hell is that???? Hell, even Judge Dred got sent to the hinter lands..... md655321
Sheed was suspended for his 16th tech. New rule this year, suspended for 16th, 18th, 20th, 22nd etc... Luckily its reset in playoffs. Then its like 4 or 5 Ts before suspension. Its a bummer that the first team with a chance to have the same starting lineup for an entire season loses it because the refs hate Sheed. (albeit with fairly good reasons) Edited April 4, 2006 by md655321
BruceW
The Refs knew about that 16th T. It was more like they were waiting for "anything" to hit him with it. So Sheed has a rep, so what. The class and character of the refs is greatly damaged by being petty because "anyone" says something against their calls. The refs have a bad rep already with all the missed and bad calls they make and always seemingly refuse to change to correct the situations. Then the league office backs them up with some public dribble that we are supposed to "accept." Anyway, maybe Sheed will finally keep quiet for awhile, at least until the season ends....... :bwallace2:

Guy Berger
Nets will win #14 tonight. If Miami also loses as well, the gap between these two teams shrinks to 2.5 games. Both teams have really easy schedules after tonight's games. Guy Edited April 6, 2006 by Guy
md655321
Ahh New Jersey, nothing like fighting hard for which postition you will lose in in the playoffs. good luck! althoguh it would be nice if they miracualously could beat miami in the 2nd round, detroit could use another cream puff on their way to championship number 3. I think neither team has much of a chance to beat Detroit in a 7 game series, barring an injury to one of the Pistons' starters. Guy
md655321
No way anyone beats the Pistons in the playoffs. Good game tonight, Shaq and Dwade both play great, but that dont mean nothin. Tayshaun is playing great lately. Darko vs D-town tonight. Here is what Sheed has to say about that: "I told you all (that he could play) but you didn't want to listen," Rasheed Wallace said of Milicic. "You all thought I was full of it. But I told a lot of people that all Darko needed was some time and he couldn't get it here because he was playing behind me, Dyess (Antonio McDyess ) and Ben (Wallace). Darko is all right." Chauncey Billups , sitting a couple of chairs over, said with a laugh, "I wish we would have played Darko instead of you." To which Wallace replied, "Yeah, and I wish we had Chris Paul as our point guard." Edited April 7, 2006 by md655321

Noj
The Lakers are torture to watch. It's Kobe, Odom, and a bunch of Development League players. That they are tied for 7th place is either a testament to how mediocre the whole league is or how good a coach Phil Jackson is. He's squeezing blood from a rock. Artest just about single-handedly took down the Clips last night in the 4th quarter. He's looney tunes, but he's pretty clutch.
