And that Robert guy my copy is autographed to appreciates it too (edit - that IS my first name, and is probably what my paypal says, so it's my fault, not yours LOL) Edited August 17, 2005 by Aggie87 Quote
Joe G Posted August 17, 2005 Report Posted August 17, 2005 I think that's when Zora was trying to climb up into my lap. Yeah, that's the ticket... Quote
JohnJ Posted August 18, 2005 Report Posted August 18, 2005 Now in Asia. My signed copies arrived in Tokyo yesterday. Only had a chance to have a cursory listen but I like what I hear so far. Sounds real nice. Well done guys. Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted August 18, 2005 Report Posted August 18, 2005 Thanks John! Just a quick note... CDBaby is currently sold out, but I sent them more on Monday. Hopefully they will have them back in stock by Friday or Monday at the latest. When they do, you better... GIT YER ORDER IN!!!! Quote
ejp626 Posted August 18, 2005 Report Posted August 18, 2005 Selling like hotcakes on CDBaby. Great news! Anyway, mine showed up over the last couple of days (I was away and it greeted me when I stepped in the door -- priceless). I do like what I heard but will be spinning again shortly to let it sink in. My only comment is that on the customs form, you put in a dollar value of $0. Surely, you must value it more highly than that. (If not, maybe we should all ask for refunds. Or credit towards your third release.) Quote

ejp626 Posted August 18, 2005 Report Posted August 18, 2005 Of course I am kidding, but I would hate for the big O to run afoul of customs for making a false declaration. When I ship items like that overseas, I generally put $10 which doesn't raise suspicions but is low enough not to trigger paying customs duties (at least AFAIK). Quote
Soulstation1 Posted August 18, 2005 Report Posted August 18, 2005 (edited) this is the place is available over at towerrecords.com http://www.towerrecords.com/product.aspx?pfid=3304193 Edited August 18, 2005 by Soulstation1 Quote

Jazz Kat Posted August 18, 2005 Report Posted August 18, 2005 hey Jim, didnt buy the new cd yet, but I'm wondering which song it was that the ladies from the beauty parlor came into the studio and told you guys to keep it down. Wasn't it a 3/4 tune, that your wife hates, and your dad loves? Quote
GregN Posted August 18, 2005 Report Posted August 18, 2005 (edited) Don't you mean Yo' order? ← Jim was playing the county fair on Tuesday. "not that there's anything wrong with that" Edited August 18, 2005 by GregN Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted August 18, 2005 Report Posted August 18, 2005 It brought back fond memories of my youth in Mason... mullets, corndogs, goat poop.... ... um ... ok, maybe not so fond. Quote

GregN Posted August 19, 2005 Report Posted August 19, 2005 (edited) The new CD will be restocked at CDBaby at any moment! We sold out!! But you can get on an email notification list there, I see. Anyhow, with 22 stations across the country reporting organissimo's This Is The Place, on the top ten for album spins (up from nine stations last week) we are looking for bigger avenues of distribution. Very exciting stuff. Greg Nagy Big O Records Edited August 19, 2005 by GregN Quote

I don't know how to do it, but hey... Quote
