Д.Д. Posted August 1, 2005 Report Posted August 1, 2005 Would like to make a database of my CDs for insurance purposes. Could anybody recommend any CD database software (possibly with audio files reading functionality as well). How good is the software for indie-label, no bar code CDs? Quick googling yields: http://www.firetongue.com/ http://www.base40.com/ http://www.collectorz.com/music/cd_databas...ord=cd_database http://www.primasoft.com/deluxeprg/muodx.htm Quote

mikeweil Posted August 1, 2005 Report Posted August 1, 2005 You can find German language software here: http://archivsoft.com/ Test versions are available for download with full functionality, but limited storage capacity. Quote
John L Posted August 2, 2005 Report Posted August 2, 2005 I use Catraxx, and am generally happy with it. It is a real time consuming pain to have to enter each disc into the database through the CDROM, however. Has anybody come up with a database, where you can just go to the CDDB database, check off the discs that you have, and transfer the information to the database? That would seem to be relatively easy to set up, and would save SO much time, not to mention the wear and tear on your CDR drive. Quote
