Jazzmoose Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 I discovered Crumb at age 13 (Big Ass #2 and Zap #1, if I recall correctly), and, other than worrying about being corrupted by the obviously perverted material, I thought it was great. Unfortunately, I was corrupted, however, and to this day can't stand women with tiny butts... Quote
bluemonk Posted May 30, 2008 Report Posted May 30, 2008 (edited) I'm a huge comic book fan particularly the ones geared towards adults. I became a true comic fan after reading Alan Moore's "The Watchmen" and "Swamp Thing." After that, I really got into Neil Gaiman's "The Sandman" series and that series was just so amazing. I also really liked "Kingdom Come" by Mark Waid, which was about "superheroes," but it was a very good read. I also really dug Frank Miller's adaptation of Batman in the mini-series "The Dark Knight Returns" and his adaptation of Daredevil in "The Man Without Fear." Edited May 30, 2008 by bluemonk Quote
BruceH Posted May 30, 2008 Report Posted May 30, 2008 Give me Tintin, Krazy Kat, and Little Lulu. Though I will admit to being an Alan Moore fan. Quote
