Parkertown Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 Yesterday: Robert Plant - Shaken & Stirred Pretty 80's-type instrumentation, but quite like nothing else done by other 80's bands. Long time since I'd heard this album; used to have the cassette of this, but that was lost in "THE GREAT TAPE HEIST OF 1987". Picked it up at Best Buy the other day. Pretty good sound on it actually. B) Heart - Alive In Seattle Oh my! It won me over. Liked the new songs, mostly. The classic tracks were given excellent treatments that kept me on the edge of my seat. Barracuda! Slightly slower than studio version, but something in there (Mike Inez's bass lines I think), just propels that song! (My comment refer to the mch mix of this hybrid SACD release) -_- B) Oh, and this is just my two cents... -_- Quote
