mikeweil Posted July 8, 2005 Report Posted July 8, 2005 (edited) It would be easier to help you if you stated what you specifically want. Why didn't you include issue numbers? Do you have the Riverside box? Or do you want to know whether this is the complete contents of the box set? There were two editions, an LP set in Italy, and a CD set by Fantasy. The latter has a few more tracks. You could check here - but this may contain some inaccuracies. Edited July 8, 2005 by mikeweil Quote
EKE BBB Posted July 8, 2005 Report Posted July 8, 2005 Go to: http://www.howardm.net/tsmonk/recordsb.php And click on "Riverside: All the details here" and you´ll get all the discographical information for "Thelonious Monk - The Complete Riverside Recordings. Riverside RCD-022-2 15CD set" Quote
couw Posted July 8, 2005 Report Posted July 8, 2005 an alternative booklet for the Riverside set can be found here (MSWord doc). Instructions here. Quote
Mr Mingus Posted July 8, 2005 Author Report Posted July 8, 2005 Do you have the Riverside box? You could check here - but this may contain some inaccuracies. ← i dont have the box, but I have almost all of the cd's that make it up. The first draft I posted was taken out of the link you gave, but it has different info than the one EKE BBB gave. For example: Disc 2 track 8 - I Surrender, Dear The first url says that on December 7, 1956, Clark Terry (tp) and Paul Chambers (b) only played 'Bemsha Swing'... should I completly trust EKE BBB's link?
