It seems like they die from after several months to 2 yrs no matter how well you take care of them or what quality/price range they are. Sonys and Pioneers have the best sound for mid-range headphones, but are the absolute worse in terms of shelf life despite their name. I'm really getting tired of replacing my shit so often.
