EKE BBB Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 (edited) I am trying to find the following discs: -Fresh Sound LP 12": FSR 117 - Peter King/Tete Montoliu: New Year's Morning '89 (1989) (there´s no CD reissue) -Jazz Stop LP 12": CFE DD-33027/8/9 - Tete Montoliu (there´s no CD reissue) -Drums LP 12": AD 15.001 - Ramón Farrán: El Olivo (recorded 1976) (to my knowledge there´s no CD reissue) Any help in finding them would be highly appreciated. No way to find out when the Mercury album was recorded? The 10CD Kirk set just gives the month - does the LPR (digipack) reissue give more exact info? Quote
king ubu Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 Forgot to say: after a quick glance at the setlists of the 2CDs in the box and the TV broadcast, I think there's no duplication. Kirk played other European cities that fall (I have Prague, I think, and maybe one more) with other rhythm players (his usual gang) and had almost identical setlists, it seems. Quote

And the sound may be a little better in the Magnetic issue. Maybe. And I´ll check the LPR "Kirk in Copenhagen" again tonight, but I´m afraid it does not give exact information. Quote
