gdogus
What's on the short version of your "to get" list - say, the next five discs/sets you plan to purchase? Sure, we could all publish LOOOONG lists of albums we want, but what's in the immediate plan for the future? Miine: • Rickie Lee Jones - Pirates • Charles Mingus - Mingus Mingus Mingus Mingus Mingus • Grateful Dead - Steppin' Out with the Grateful Dead - England '72 • Grateful Dead - Ladies and Gentlemen, The Grateful Dead - Fillmore East, April 1971 • Jason Moran - Black Stars (Open to massive revision, of course...) Son-of-a-Weizen
I'm considering that new Stones mini-lp box (w/"Sticky Fingers, "Exile On Main Street," "Goats Head Soup," "It's Only Rock N Roll," "Black And Blue," "Some Girls ," "Emotional Rescue, and "Tattoo You") due out in Japan in August. I haven't purchased a single rock cd in 8 or 9 years.

I'll probably pluck a few from Dusty Groove I've got the upcoming Sammy Davis Jr./Carmen McRae "Porgy and Bess" on preorder. . . for the McRae, not the Davis

Jazzmoose
No way for me to answer this one. I work from one of those "monster want lists" and I never know which CDs are going to pop onto my actual buying list until I'm placing the order. Right now I'm most interested in more Ken Vandermark and Pat Metheney (yeah, figure that out!) but when it comes down to pulling the trigger, who knows... clifford_thornton
I think I need the Hill box and will probably replace the Charlie Feathers on Revenant that my ex-girlfriend got custody of.

Free For All
Even without "It All Comes Back To You" this will be a good'un.

LAL
I need to listen to more vocalists! Will probably pick up an album each by Carmen Lundy, Rene Marie, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Abbey Lincoln, Janet Klein, Kurt Elling, Jeri Brown...
