CJ Shearn Posted June 25, 2005 Report Posted June 25, 2005 I've been eyeing these as they have gotten some great reviews on places like AAJ. I really enjoy Miller's work with Art Blakey on "Live at Kimballs" and Tony Williams "Tokyo Live" so any props for these two Mulgrew Miller releases around here? Quote
Dan Gould Posted June 25, 2005 Report Posted June 25, 2005 I haven't had the chance or cash flow to pick up Volume 2, but Volume 1 got a lot of play time when I grabbed it last year. Quote
chuckyd4 Posted June 25, 2005 Report Posted June 25, 2005 Volume 1 is definitely worth checking out if you dig his playing elsewhere; haven't had the chance to check out Volume 2 yet. I believe they are both available on eMusic, though for those who are interested. Quote
Free For All Posted June 25, 2005 Report Posted June 25, 2005 If Volume 2 is anything like Volume 1, sign me up! A smoking trio for sure. Quote
Alexander Posted June 26, 2005 Report Posted June 26, 2005 I have both. Two fantastic, smoking sets. Highly recommended! Quote

sal Posted June 26, 2005 Report Posted June 26, 2005 I love Volume 1....absolutely smokin'. Will get Volume 2 whenever I get the chance. Quote
