p.s. -- glad your eye is okay. In all seriousness, just last week I was advising my kids to shut or shield one eye when walking past someone who happens to be mowing close to where they might be walking, riding a bike or so....'cause when I was a kid, a small rock shot out of the mower and nailed a kid in the eye who was riding past.

They're saying it's allright, just a little sting.

Uh -- I think you should have it looked at. Emergency rooms usually prioritize eye injuries. Even if it's just "stinging" they can give you something for the pain (direct to the eye, no high!!!) that will prevent your OTHER eye from feeling sympathetic pain...

Tell them to memorize the path and close both eyes. You can never be too safe :w

As Norm Abram always says at the beginning of The New Yankee Workshop, "... and remember there's no more important safey rule that to wear these, safety glasses." Most people wouldn't think twice about putting these on if they were using any other kind of lawn maintenance device, like a trimmer or a tiller, but for some reason, they think a lawnmower can't possibly hurt them. A lesson well, if painfully learned by our associate, Jazz Kat.

BTW, Randy's post that shows Moe giving the fingers to Curley is still cracking me up. LOL for sure. :g

Up over and out.
