BruceW Posted June 12, 2005 Report Posted June 12, 2005 Hey All, Yesterday I saw Joey DeFrancesco at the Playboy Jazz Festival. Man, this cat was really rockin' the place. It was so great to see a group get into that "jazz groove" that is the mainstay of jazz. He made a verbal tribute fo Jimmy Smith and played Back At The Chicken Shack and it was a show stopper. First time I ever saw Joey live. What a show AND his skills are so great. Kenny Burrell guested with Joey's trio and it was absolutely great. BruceW aka Vibeman Quote

Two of them were the most gorgeous girls you ever want to see in this life....... if you are lucky, you'll see them in your dreams! Ever wonder how Hugh stays so young..... Just don't get used to it. ← Jimmy pretty much ignores my organ jokes. So, I am slowly getting the idea. With regards to the Playboy fest, with all that eye candy around, I would have a hard time playing for sure. It would also be the antithesis of where I played this weekend. Quote
