tonym Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 Just wondering. I've always wanted one but can't seem to find and image that I'd be happy to stick with for years. I'm not religious, into eastern philosophies or astrology so that rules out many common designs. I'd welcome your thoughts no matter how critical/derisive/encouraging. Quote
Free For All Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 Mrs. Free For All has two- one on the ankle and one on the lower back. Actually it was totally out of character for her to do this- I was surprised to say the least (she got them both in Santa Fe over a couple summers- that place will do things to your head!). Mid-life craziness I guess. They are very tasteful, although I have no idea who "Butchie" is. Quote

RonF Posted June 8, 2005 Report Posted June 8, 2005 None here and amazingly, our two daughters decided against tats. They could have if they had wanted to. Tony, my observation is - keep tats away from the neck and face. Those areas are exclusively reserved for another species. Quote

DTMX Posted June 9, 2005 Report Posted June 9, 2005 I support this kind of self-expression. This is just one more guy I don't have to compete with for a job or anything else. Plus, after one look at him, no one would ever take his word over mine in a dispute. No officer - I didn't cut the heads off those parking meters. It was that tattooed guy over there. - drunkenly slurred, holding a pipe-cutter. A guy that once worked on my car had the logo for the band Korn tattooed on his neck, and had K-O-R-N tattooed on the knuckles of both hands. A career-limiting choice of expression (unless he actually went to work for Korn). Quote
