couw Posted May 31, 2005 Report Posted May 31, 2005 (edited) A burning desire to discover whether Moose will ever get his Moon Martin record? ← The suspense is still there, but I did find out the title... Escape from Domination. .← which can be had on LP for an apple and an egg through ebay or on CD from the UK as a two-fer combined with another spiffily titled album... WD45 Posted May 31, 2005 Report Posted May 31, 2005 I don't know why I came here before, but I have a reason now. That reason, quite simply, is this smiley: Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted May 31, 2005 Report Posted May 31, 2005 I don't know why I came here before, but I have a reason now. That reason, quite simply, is this smiley: ← He is very popular, that's for sure. Quote
Aggie87 Posted May 31, 2005 Report Posted May 31, 2005 I've been waiting for this very thread since 10 March 2003. That's why I've been here all this time - finally, I can move on!! Quote
Dr. Rat Posted May 31, 2005 Report Posted May 31, 2005 I come here to spread the love of sometimes fiesty rats. We only bite your finger when we think it's food, which it usually isn't with the rest of you attached to it resisting. The snacks ARE good, only hard to subdue. --eric Quote
catesta Posted May 31, 2005 Report Posted May 31, 2005 For all or at least some of the reasons already listed. Quote
Dr. Rat Posted May 31, 2005 Report Posted May 31, 2005 For all or at least some of the reasons already listed. ← So you, too, are willing to dedicate yourself to the cause of rats? Huzzah! --eric Quote
marcoliv Posted May 31, 2005 Report Posted May 31, 2005 none of my friends are into jazz so you guys are very important to me Marcus Quote
sidewinder Posted June 1, 2005 Report Posted June 1, 2005 I'll second that ! (or at least the sort of jazz I am into) Quote
indigo Posted June 1, 2005 Report Posted June 1, 2005 All of the dysfunctional members of my family have died and I miss that dynamic. More important, as Marcus said so well: none of my friends are into jazz so you guys are very important to me ← Quote
connoisseur series500 Posted June 1, 2005 Report Posted June 1, 2005 none of my friends are into jazz so you guys are very important to me Marcus ← You're a swell guy, Marcus. Quote
Jazzmoose Posted June 1, 2005 Report Posted June 1, 2005 My doctor told me to cut back on the salty snacks and give my arm a rest, so this is all I have left. Quote
Jazzmoose Posted June 1, 2005 Report Posted June 1, 2005 But seriously, Marcus pretty much nails the real draw. Quote
Elissa Posted June 1, 2005 Report Posted June 1, 2005 (edited) i'm drawn here by the site's embarrassing dearth of women. someone has to stand up and be counted, even if y'all continue to ignore our brilliance and vast comprehension of the groove. Edited June 1, 2005 by Elis Quote
Free For All Posted June 1, 2005 Report Posted June 1, 2005 i'm drawn here by the site's embarrassing dearth of women. someone has to stand up and be counted, even if y'all continue to ignore our brilliance and vast comprehension of the groove. ← Calling Lon Armstrong......... Quote
Brad Posted June 1, 2005 Report Posted June 1, 2005 Marcus raises a good point but also to see all you guys, find out what's going on, get advise, see what's selling. If I hadn't seen Tony's post, I wouldn't have scored the Miles Gil Evans set from him on ebay. So this is a great organic place. Quote
RDK Posted June 1, 2005 Report Posted June 1, 2005 What draws me here? Somehow my browser got defaulted to Organissimo as its home page... and I'm too stupid to figure out how to change it. Quote
king ubu Posted June 1, 2005 Report Posted June 1, 2005 All of the dysfunctional members of my family have died and I miss that dynamic. ← That one just cranked me up! More important, as Marcus said so well: none of my friends are into jazz so you guys are very important to me ← ← It's not as bad here, but other than some of you guys I've never met anyone with an interest in jazz that's as broad as mine (I always end up being annoyed by a couple of friend's who just can't take some good old hardbop or some contemporary stuff by mainstream players and accept that this is valuable and good music, too). Then I also don't meet those friends on a daily basis, unlike you! Shortly put: I like this place quite some... Quote
EKE BBB Posted June 1, 2005 Report Posted June 1, 2005 none of my friends are into jazz ... ← I´d say "none of my friends are SICKLY in jazz" Quote
A Lark Ascending Posted June 1, 2005 Report Posted June 1, 2005 Oh, for the group hugs. We Brits are much too distant to try that at home. One of those smiley things. Quote
Kalo Posted June 3, 2005 Report Posted June 3, 2005 Knowledge, Laffs, and reassurance that my music buying habit isn't nearly as bad as all of yours.... (As Mr. Rogers might have put it, "Won't you be my enabler?") Quote
