very interesting as usual. Josh and Ben listen to the music and Josh reacts.

They discuss Rollins's "Saxophone Colossus", Trane's "Transition" and the Paul Motian Trio's "Trioism" ( I told ya'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Interesting article. I wish the NY Times had printed Redman's entire list -- which Led Zeppelin album did he put on there?

Has the Times done similar "favorite album" commentaries for anyone else besides Metheny and Redman?

I was in shock until I realized you were respoinding to the "commentary" question, not the Led Zeppelin album question... :wacko:

I think he's the guy playing drums on "Moby Dick".

Listening to these guys discuss music is very interesting and he sounds like a great guy. It's a little like listening to Tony Gwynn and George Brett talk about hitting Nolan Ryan heat.
