That was a nail-biter, but 'Sheed came up HUGE at the end. All the doubters can now shut-up, according to the quote above!

Another 7 game series?  (Spurs/Pistons)

I favor the Pistons, because can dish it out alittle more :bwallace: . :bad:

Nah, Spurs in 6 (unless Pistons get lucky with another injury)

Evan, you got to be used to defeat with your sports teams now... :P

I predicted Billups would have a big game. He didn't have quite as big of a game as I had expected, but every free throw at the end was a dagger.

Flash my ass. The kid picked up some valuable experience. He'll be tougher next year, but he wasn't ready just yet. Another year older for Shaq, who's getting used to playoff defeats...

Anyway, hats off to the Heat, who gave the Pistons everything. They might even have won the series if SS1 hadn't been betting on them....

Aw Gee,

Shaq can't hold his head up when they lose. He never says WE lost, it is always MY guys this, MY guys that etc. etc., bla bla bla.

Have been trying to tell people Shaq IS NOT A GUARANTEE of a championship.

Shaq is a very good player, is also a great humanitarian but he is not a lock on anybodys team to win a championship. Only George Mikan, Bill Russell and Sam Jones come close to that distinction.

Now on to the Finals, Pistons either take it in 6 or it will go 7. Toss up who wins but I am picking Pistons. Should be interesting, two most current champions playing for the championship.

No way this loss falls on Shaq's shoulders. He had his team right there. He hit big shots down the stretch and 3 of 4 big free throws. Shaq doesn't guarantee victory, but he doesn't take the blame for this one. His supporting cast let him down big time.

Aside from Shaq and Wade's injuries, the Heat lost because of their biggest weakness -- a lackluster supporting cast.
