Jim Alfredson Posted May 20, 2005 Report Posted May 20, 2005 Gotta remember to allow posting when you make a poll now, otherwise people can't respond. The Pistons will win in 6. Quote
Noj Posted May 20, 2005 Report Posted May 20, 2005 I'm interested to see how these teams match up. The Pistons are stronger at more positions, but the Heat have a well-rested Shaq and Flash is friggin' unstoppable. It will be fun to watch, I've gotta give a slight edge to the defending champs who have the battle-tested crew. Quote
Soulstation1 Posted May 20, 2005 Author Report Posted May 20, 2005 (edited) i say heat in four :g Edited May 20, 2005 by Soulstation1 Quote
connoisseur series500 Posted May 20, 2005 Report Posted May 20, 2005 I'm going with the Pistons, but this is going to be tough... Quote
Soulstation1 Posted May 20, 2005 Author Report Posted May 20, 2005 tell 'sheed and co to bring ALL their championship belts Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted May 20, 2005 Report Posted May 20, 2005 Wade is good, but have the Heat really been challenged in these play-offs? C'mon... The Nets? THE WIZARDS?! Gimme a break. The Pistons are gonna tear those suckas up. Quote
Guy Berger Posted May 20, 2005 Report Posted May 20, 2005 (edited) Both teams are in for a rude awakening; no beating up on crappy teams from here on out. Guy Edited May 20, 2005 by Guy Berger Quote
Guy Berger Posted May 20, 2005 Report Posted May 20, 2005 Wade is good, but have the Heat really been challenged in these play-offs? C'mon... The Nets? THE WIZARDS?! Gimme a break. ← Yeah, because the Sixers and Pacers are reaaaaaaaaally tough opponents. Guy Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted May 20, 2005 Report Posted May 20, 2005 The Sixers, not so much. The Pacers? Um... considering they beat Miami 3 times out of 4 during the regular season, I'd say they are pretty tough. Quote
Guy Berger Posted May 20, 2005 Report Posted May 20, 2005 The Sixers, not so much. The Pacers? Um... considering they beat Miami 3 times out of 4 during the regular season, I'd say they are pretty tough. ← Western Conference lottery team. Guy Quote
Edward Posted May 20, 2005 Report Posted May 20, 2005 (edited) Western conference is weak. ← Combined Record of Western Conference Teams: 646-584 Combined Record of Eastern Conference Teams: 584-646 Regular Season Records Against Opposing Conference's Playoff Teams Dallas Mavericks: 12-4 Phoenix Suns: 11-5 San Antonio Spurs: 10-6 Detroit Pistons: 8-8 Miami Heat: 7-9 Indiana Pacers: 6-10 The Pacer's regular season record would have been good for 9th place in the Western Conference. Obviously, Indiana's record would most likely have been better without all of those suspensions that were incurred early on. Edited May 20, 2005 by Edward Quote
md655321 Posted May 20, 2005 Report Posted May 20, 2005 Pistons in 6. Maybe 7, but that would be very tough to close out in Miami. Shaq is old and injured. Pistons matchup nicely with a string tough defener in Billups on Flash and help D from Ben, who Im pretty sure can leave Udonis Haslem open all day. Quote
Soulstation1 Posted May 20, 2005 Author Report Posted May 20, 2005 the heat really only need the daddy for 2 series shaq is old at 33 this series should be for all marbles, winner wins the championship shit, i HAVE plans to see the heat/suns in phoenix ss1 Quote
Soulstation1 Posted May 20, 2005 Author Report Posted May 20, 2005 the heat has the slight edge 10-8 Quote
Noj Posted May 20, 2005 Report Posted May 20, 2005 Shaq, injured? C'mon, it's a bruise. They rested him for the Pistons. Rip looked better last night. We're in for a great series! B-) Quote
Guy Berger Posted May 20, 2005 Report Posted May 20, 2005 (edited) this series should be for all marbles, winner wins the championship ← I don't think so... By the way, if Shaq doesn't play for a significant portion of this series, then the Pistons will definitely win. Guy Edited May 20, 2005 by Guy Berger Quote

Jim Alfredson Posted May 22, 2005 Report Posted May 22, 2005 Why are you trying to lose more money, man? I have no interest in an RVG. But there are some other CDs I could use. Quote
SEK Posted May 22, 2005 Report Posted May 22, 2005 (edited) I'm a devoted Pistons fan, and I'm really looking forward to this series, precisely because its outcome is the most complete mystery to me in this year's playoffs. Edited May 22, 2005 by SEK Quote

Soulstation1 Posted May 23, 2005 Author Report Posted May 23, 2005 (edited) plus 2 side bets the loser has to use whatever avitar the winner chooses for a week, plus the loser must admit the other team is better in this thread... Edited May 23, 2005 by Soulstation1 Quote
