Jim Alfredson Posted May 8, 2005 Report Posted May 8, 2005 What kind of loser would write a review of a 12 pack of Coca Cola? Quote
sidewinder Posted May 8, 2005 Report Posted May 8, 2005 The scary thing is that there's about half a dozen reviews.. Quote
Ron S Posted May 8, 2005 Report Posted May 8, 2005 What kind of loser would write a review of a 12 pack of Coca Cola? Gee, Jim, sorry we can't all be Pepsi lovers. Quote
Dan Gould Posted May 8, 2005 Report Posted May 8, 2005 Staggering. And then there's this: The only problem with the Fridge Pack is that you must remove one can of Coke when you open the box, so you either have to sit the single can on the shelf or you have to drink it, if you plan on using the box as a dispenser. Uh, correct me if I'm wrong but couldn't you just leave the box intact on the shelf until you are ready to open it, drink the first can, and use the box as a dispenser? Quote
Ron S Posted May 8, 2005 Report Posted May 8, 2005 BTW, who wants to be the first to open one of these cans right after the case is delivered: Quote
Christiern Posted May 8, 2005 Report Posted May 8, 2005 I wonder if any of the reviewers know that Coca Cola was somewhat addictive in its first years, when it actually contained a small amount of cocaine. It was particularly popular in the South--mention Coke to Alberta Hunter and she could go on for a half hour singing (actually speaking) its praises. It was also Bessie Smith's favorite non-alcoholic drink. Does anyone know when they de-clawed Coke? I bet that professional soft drink reviewers are overweight. Quote

Guy Berger Posted May 8, 2005 Author Report Posted May 8, 2005 I bet that professional soft drink reviewers are overweight. Truly something to aspire to... being a professional soft drink reviewer, I mean, not being overweight. Guy Quote
Jazzmoose Posted May 8, 2005 Report Posted May 8, 2005 The scary thing is that there's about half a dozen reviews.. The scarier thing is I just added one more...let's see how long it stays! Quote
Jazzmoose Posted May 8, 2005 Report Posted May 8, 2005 Hmmm...doesn't look like it's there; was my line about corporate America a little too strong or something? Quote
Aggie87 Posted May 8, 2005 Report Posted May 8, 2005 (edited) Features: Fridge Pack Very Low Sodium Fat Free Personally, I'll wait until the remastered Fridge Pack with bonus, previously unreleased cans comes out. Edited May 8, 2005 by Aggie87 Quote
BERIGAN Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 Hmmm...doesn't look like it's there; was my line about corporate America a little too strong or something? You posted it on a Sunday, most likely the reason...plus the 3-4 reviews I have done in 5-6 years have taken a few days anywho. I have seen nasty reviews actually, I think they must just filter for language. Quote
king ubu Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 so which one is yours, Mr. Moose? Coca Cola is more than a soft drink; it is frequently synonymous with America and freedom in many parts of the world. Thank god for capitalism, giving us amazing things like Coca-Cola. This 12-pack of 12 is very convenient. If you are going to party it's easy to carry and it fits nicely in the refrigerator. This is a flap that you tear opens that dispenses one can at a time so you don't have to fill up your refrigerator with upright soda cans. Ils sont fous, ces Américains! Quote
Jazzmoose Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 so which one is yours, Mr. Moose? Not guilty! None of the above! Mine will be easy to spot if it ever makes it; it's signed 'Grumpy old moose' and rails against labeling something Coke Classic when it still contains corn syrup rather than sugar.... Quote

The world needs to know more about this! Quote
Robert J Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 I just saw that dumb ad on TV last night where they're "introducing" Coke with Lime as a brand new concept. None of those bozo's ever had a rum and Coke? Quote
BruceH Posted May 20, 2005 Report Posted May 20, 2005 I wonder if any of the reviewers know that Coca Cola was somewhat addictive in its first years, when it actually contained a small amount of cocaine. ← Ah, the good old days... Quote
jazzbo Posted May 20, 2005 Report Posted May 20, 2005 Do we really need "Coke with Lime?" Looking around at all the office workers who are swilling cokes. . . I think what we need is "Coke with FIBER"! Quote
JSngry Posted May 20, 2005 Report Posted May 20, 2005 Well hell, they sell pulpy orange juice, why not Pulpy Lime Coke? Fibah, Flayvah, Fun! Quote

WD45 Posted May 20, 2005 Report Posted May 20, 2005 "Return With Me Now to Those Thrilling Days of Yesteryear," aka "Remembrance of Marketing Debacles Past": ← What did it taste like? My family was strictly RC Cola while all of this was happening. Quote
Jazzmoose Posted May 20, 2005 Report Posted May 20, 2005 I must admit I drink Diet Coke at work and when eating out (you know, the burger-and-fries type meals), but after tasting this new Splenda version, count me out. It's the Diet Coke version of the New Coke debacle... Quote
Jazzmoose Posted May 20, 2005 Report Posted May 20, 2005 (edited) And I see they never did add my negative review to their site. I guess you have to be Hardbop to get a negative review added... Edited May 20, 2005 by Jazzmoose Quote
