Dave James Posted April 25, 2005 Report Posted April 25, 2005 I was doing an internet search this morning on the Spanish outfit Lonehill, when I came across the e-tailer, ejazzlines.com. I had never run into them before, but they seem to have a pretty substantial catalog of available recordings and their label listing covers everything from Arbors to Zephyr and all points inbetween, including many Japanese and European imprints. Has anyone done any business with these guys? Up over and out. Quote
JPF Posted April 25, 2005 Report Posted April 25, 2005 I've bought quite a few things from them. They're very good to deal with, relatively quick to ship unless they have to wait for an import to arrive, and they carry stuff I haven't been able to find anywhere else. And, when you order, you get a personal (not computer-generated) thank-you note from the guy who runs the business! Or at least I do. Recommended. Quote
jlhoots Posted April 25, 2005 Report Posted April 25, 2005 Great service. Personal e-mails. Not so great prices, so I only buy things from them that I can't find anywhere else. Quote
JPF Posted April 25, 2005 Report Posted April 25, 2005 True - the prices on items you can get elsewhere are often a little higher here, but they're the place to go for hard-to-find items. Quote
dave9199 Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 Dealt with them a few times. Always a good transaction. Whenever I called to check on an order, I talked to a human being (Doug maybe?). He'd give me the latest update on my order even when I called on a Saturday & they weren't actually open but happened to be there. Quote
