What if they use that condition to turn their lives around and find that which is really meaningful? Wouldn't that be a blessing? OTOH, someone who wins the lottery, or scores a hot-looking and rich mate would seem to be lucky. But if that stunts their intellectual and emotional growth through the avoidance of challenges, that might well ruin their chances at finding real happiness. The grass is not greener...
