AllenLowe Posted April 24, 2005 Report Posted April 24, 2005 yes yes on Danny Polo (and if you can find an LP of his 1930s Euro recordings grab it - and I recently picked up a Spike Highes LP with some early Polo on it) - I would add Teddy Weatherford - Quote
Brownian Motion Posted April 24, 2005 Author Report Posted April 24, 2005 (edited) yes yes on Danny Polo (and if you can find an LP of his 1930s Euro recordings grab it - and I recently picked up a Spike Highes LP with some early Polo on it) - I would add Teddy Weatherford - Weatherford without a doubt. One of the members of the board was kind enough to provide me with a burn of his entire European output, but I would love to hear the recordings he made in India. I think some of these may have made it on to an LP; not sure. Edited April 24, 2005 by Brownian Motion Quote

clifford_thornton Posted April 25, 2005 Report Posted April 25, 2005 Arthur Jones, Jacques Coursil, and I suppose Prince Lasha doesn't have that many released recordings when you think about it... Tubby Hayes should have had more. Quote
