Ben Harper and The Blind Boys of Alabama

i purchased this cd from yourmusic not knowing what to expect.

i had ben harper's 1st cd years ago, but i sold it, and i wasn't much interested in what else he had released.

i picked this one up for s and giggles.

and wow.

i have listened to nothing else for the last week.

i played it 2 times straight the day it arrived.

it's been awhile since i've done that.

anyone else pick this up?

what are your thoughts?

I've got this one and I was pleasantly surprised. I had misgivings about it because I thought that if anyone could screw this up it would be Ben Harper but he didn't. It turned out rather nice I thought.

The first time I glanced at the title of this thread, I thought it said BILLY Harper and The Blind Boys of Alabama.

Now there's a collaboration I'd pay good money to hear. B-)
