sonnyhill Posted April 8, 2005 Report Posted April 8, 2005 I am considering purchasing a sealed copy of Bobby Hutcherson's "Stick Up !" However, it is listed as an Applause reissue. How are Applause reissues sonically? The price $25. Is such a reissue worth it or is a better sounding issue of the record reasonably available for a reasonable price. Thanks. Quote
Dan Gould Posted April 8, 2005 Report Posted April 8, 2005 No way anyone should pay $25 for an Applause reissue. This was issued as a Conn. but I don't know how hard it is to track down. Quote
Dan Gould Posted April 8, 2005 Report Posted April 8, 2005 There's a GEMM seller who has the CD for $14 and change, and his feedback and fill rate are very good. http://www.gemm.com/ddc/search.pl?&a_refno=GML589812193 Quote
Jazz Kat Posted April 8, 2005 Report Posted April 8, 2005 Is this the Applause records you're talking about? Quote
wolff Posted April 9, 2005 Report Posted April 9, 2005 (edited) I have purchased a couple nice originals off eBay for under $25 each. Edited April 9, 2005 by wolff Quote
wesbed Posted April 9, 2005 Report Posted April 9, 2005 If the CD format is acceptable, CDUniverse has the title for $14.29. This is the one I would buy. Quote
