kinuta Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 (edited) I'm most interested in what Christopher Nolan has done with' Batman Begins'. Of course I'm dying to see Terence Malick's ' The New World' Imho almost ANYTHING would be better than ' Troy'which I thought was absolute tripe. Edited May 10, 2005 by kinuta Quote
RDK Posted May 11, 2005 Report Posted May 11, 2005 Guess what new summer blockbuster I saw last night? Give you a hint: it rhymes with "Bar Whores." Quote
undergroundagent Posted May 11, 2005 Report Posted May 11, 2005 What did you think? I rewatched "Phantom Menace" and "Attack of the Clones" over the weekend in anticipation of its release. Should we believe the hype!?!?! Quote
Adam Posted May 11, 2005 Report Posted May 11, 2005 I'd like to see Women In Love again. Whatever happened to films like that! Hey, there's a "new" Ingmar Bergman film this summer - "Sarabande" Made for TV in Sweden, and essentially a sequel to "Scenes from a Marriage," I believe. There are others - you just gotta look at the art house listings, because they won't get any hype. Otherwise, I have a bizarre interest in seeing "Mr & Mrs Smith." But I think I will rewatch the Hitchcock version first. (It actually has no relationship except the title) And a few docs of interest. But I still need to see Kung Fu Hustle. Quote
Brad Posted May 11, 2005 Report Posted May 11, 2005 I'm looking forward to Cinderella Man, which is the story of Gentleman Jim Braddoc, the depression boxer. Great article about him in SI this week. Quote
