Aggie87 Posted March 31, 2005 Report Posted March 31, 2005 I've got four of them (Porter, Rodgers & Hart, Arlen, & Berlin), and think they're great! Has the Kern just been remastered? Quote

MartyJazz Posted April 1, 2005 Report Posted April 1, 2005 anyone pick up this remastered cd? I'm not an Ella completist but I do have quite a few CDs by her, all from her glory years with Verve. Since this one is arranged & conducted by Riddle, I'm afraid that I'll have to get this one too. Quote
Bluerein Posted April 1, 2005 Report Posted April 1, 2005 (edited) gslade: in fact this is the last one Verve remastered so now all of them are already out in the remastered Master Edition (Digipack) format. All are in the same 20 bit remastering as the complete box set of the Songbooks except this last one which is in 24 Bit, 96 kHz and thus newly remastered. Edited April 1, 2005 by Bluerein Quote
JSngry Posted April 1, 2005 Report Posted April 1, 2005 Worth having just for the gorgeously subversive Riddle arrangement of "The Way You Look Tonight". Quote
