A Lark Ascending Posted April 10, 2013 Report Posted April 10, 2013 The last series of Lewis. Really enjoyed these. Quote
crisp Posted April 12, 2013 Report Posted April 12, 2013 I recall (I think) Palin saying at the time that he felt that his character and Robert Lindsay's begin as hero and villain respectively then gradually switch places. Quote
jazzbo Posted April 12, 2013 Report Posted April 12, 2013 Mad Men season premier (interesting, slowly unfolding). Community, Parks and Recs, The Office. I skipped Hannibal, wasn't that impressed with the first episode last week. Quote
Matthew Posted April 13, 2013 Report Posted April 13, 2013 Scrubs: Season 5 - 9. I had some time on my hands this week, and so watched seasons 5 - 9, the ones everyone seems to dump on. I happened to enjoy them very much, it's interesting to see how the characters develop and mature in these seasons. I also came away with a renewed appreciation of just the basic humanness of the series. As I've said many a time -- I love Scrubs, it's my all-time favorite tv show. Quote
jeffcrom Posted April 13, 2013 Report Posted April 13, 2013 An old VHS tape with two episodes of The Jonathan Winters Show from 1957. Quote
A Lark Ascending Posted April 13, 2013 Report Posted April 13, 2013 Half way through season 9. I just love these programmes. Quote
brownie Posted April 15, 2013 Report Posted April 15, 2013 Season 2. Catching up on the early seasons of the series. Season 3 will be next. Quote
kinuta Posted April 16, 2013 Report Posted April 16, 2013 Endeavour ITV Follows on from last years pilot. Young Morse in fine form with deductive powers on full display despite the sometimes clunky storyline. DI Thursday is also excellent. Very enjoyable. Quote
Shawn Posted April 23, 2013 Report Posted April 23, 2013 Community - Season Two Community matches my sense of humor better than any show on television. Quote
BruceH Posted April 23, 2013 Report Posted April 23, 2013 Community - Season Two Community matches my sense of humor better than any show on television. I'd have to say the same, though only up through season 3. Quote
Shawn Posted April 24, 2013 Report Posted April 24, 2013 I know many people are complaining about season 4, but even though it's not as strong as the past I'm still enjoying it, I love the cast and that's enough to keep me entertained. Quote
kinuta Posted April 27, 2013 Report Posted April 27, 2013 Scandal Huck's background story was pretty intense and genuinely touching. Quote
jazzbo Posted April 27, 2013 Report Posted April 27, 2013 (edited) Yes, plus Jassica Nicole! I'm watching tv again, finally got the cable right in my new place. Watched last week's Golden Boy last. Edited April 27, 2013 by jazzbo Quote

kinuta Posted April 28, 2013 Report Posted April 28, 2013 The Politician's Husband BBC Any good? Missed it last Thursday but might catch up tonight. Yes, it was interesting despite David Tennant. I don't know how it will play out but Emily Watson always turns in a solid perfomance, and I'm generally a fan of of political thrillers. Quote

kinuta Posted May 1, 2013 Report Posted May 1, 2013 Rectify Impressive look at a man who spends half his life in a solitary cell on death row and who is released suddenly when dna evidence cast doubt on his guilt. Quite profound, slow paced character study was very impressive but requiring patience . The guy who plays the con, Aden Young gives a spot on memorable performance. Recommended. Quote
jazzbo Posted May 1, 2013 Report Posted May 1, 2013 Crash, Season 2, finally sprung for the very expensive amazon DVDR of this series, I loved the first season. Really enjoy watching Moran Atias. Quote

Though you end up hating all the main characters! I suspect that is intended. Quote
