jazzbo Posted March 9, 2013 Report Posted March 9, 2013 I'm moving to Bay Village, Ohio. My parents live there. . . and they need my help. Quote
Matthew Posted March 13, 2013 Report Posted March 13, 2013 Home Movies. Season One. For some reason, I find this series one of the funnest that I've seen -- don't know why either. Been traveling a lot lately, so I took the whole series with me to watch. Very enjoyable, and funny in an unique way. The final episode was very sad, but hopeful at the same time. Quote
jazzbo Posted March 13, 2013 Report Posted March 13, 2013 Finished up season 2 of Alias. Cool. I haven't watched any Alias in a while. That was probably my favorite of the seasons. Though Three is also really good. Quote
BruceH Posted March 13, 2013 Report Posted March 13, 2013 Watched the old British film Kind Hearts and Coronets (have been getting into old Alec Guinness films). Didn't expect that much, having heard mostly of the 8 supporting roles Guinness played, but loved it - one of the best things I've seen in years (and I'm ordinarily not much into 1949-vintage black and white film)! I may even purchase a DVD. Granted I'm highly partial to the "black humor" genre... A masterpiece. It certainly is; and Guinness doing the eight roles is the least of it. Quote
A Lark Ascending Posted March 17, 2013 Report Posted March 17, 2013 Last 2 of 'Spiral' - very exciting ending. And a Series 5 is now in production! Hopefully next year. Quote
Shawn Posted March 17, 2013 Report Posted March 17, 2013 Finished up Season 3 of Alias. That was my favorite season so far. Quote
jazzbo Posted March 17, 2013 Report Posted March 17, 2013 Finished up Nip/Tuck Season 2. On to Justified, Season 2, an Xmas present I received. Quote
erwbol Posted March 17, 2013 Report Posted March 17, 2013 Real Time With Bill Maher. I thought this joke was really funny (you'd have to know a little about what Trump jokes Maher made last season and The Donald's $5.000.000 lawsuit). Quote
jazzbo Posted March 18, 2013 Report Posted March 18, 2013 Episode 3 of the History Channel's "Vikings." Not too bad. Quote
jlhoots Posted March 19, 2013 Report Posted March 19, 2013 I want to watch Top Of The Lake but don't get the Sundance channel.Guess I'll buy the DVD when it comes out. Quote
kinuta Posted March 19, 2013 Report Posted March 19, 2013 BBC2 The Challenger Gripping. William Hurt outstanding as Richard Feynman. Quote
BruceH Posted March 19, 2013 Report Posted March 19, 2013 Rewatching Detroit 187 Eps 1-9 There was a second season? Looking back, it seems like this was cancelled in about 5 minutes. Quote

jazzbo Posted March 19, 2013 Report Posted March 19, 2013 Last night's Castle, Continuum, Fast 'n Loud and The Following (though the latter is wearing on me). Quote
jlhoots Posted March 19, 2013 Report Posted March 19, 2013 Last night's Castle, Continuum, Fast 'n Loud and The Following (though the latter is wearing on me). Castle was pretty good last night. Quote
JohnJ Posted March 27, 2013 Report Posted March 27, 2013 Rubicon. Love the fact that it doesn't play to the lowest common denominator of viewer intelligence. I'm quite caught up in trying to unravel the plot(s) but fear the slow pace and lack of action will lead the studio to do an axe job on it before it has chance to develop. Really like the Gordon Willis style cinematography. Late as usual but just recorded and watched the entire 13 episodes. Really enjoyed Rubicon and wish there had been a second series to answer at least a few of the unanswered questions! Quote
kinuta Posted March 28, 2013 Report Posted March 28, 2013 Foyle's War new season. Foyle is now at MI5 tackling cold war problems. Great as usual. Quote

I thought Series 7 was the last one; hope it airs in the U.S. soon... Edited March 28, 2013 by alankin Quote
A Lark Ascending Posted April 7, 2013 Report Posted April 7, 2013 The Blinded Man - BBC4 The latest Scandinavian crime thriller for a Saturday night. Very good. Opened with Monk's 'Misterioso' which seems to have been woven into the theme tune. Quote
jlhoots Posted April 7, 2013 Report Posted April 7, 2013 Justified - season finale. Looking forward to next season. Quote
