BruceH Posted September 8, 2009 Report Posted September 8, 2009 Just watched the original 1978 Italian "Inglorious Bastards" on DVD. Interesting. Quote
Jazzmoose Posted September 12, 2009 Report Posted September 12, 2009 Just finished watching My Cousin Vinny for the umpteenth time. A strange movie in one sense; I always seem to laugh at different parts, but it's always funny. I can't believe it's seventeen years old... Quote
AndrewHill Posted September 12, 2009 Report Posted September 12, 2009 Watching Tropic Thunder...not sure what to make of this yet. Quote
Van Basten II Posted September 12, 2009 Report Posted September 12, 2009 Finished watching John McDermott fighting Tyson Fury (Best name ever for a fighter and that's his real name) Entertaining domestic scrap between two mid-level fighters. Horrendous decision though. Quote
kinuta Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 Streets Of SF Season one. Great, Karl Malden excellent and complimented by Michael Douglas. Quote
Jazzmoose Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 Believe it or not, I've been revisiting Monty Python. I watched this show until I was just plain sick of it and last saw an entire episode back in the early nineties if I remember rightly. I guess it's been long enough, because it's killing me now! BruceH Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 Saw the latest episode of Mad Men last night. Those damn penny-pinching Brits! And the return of Duck! Quote

Matthew Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 How I Met Your Mother. Season one. Seeing this for the first time and I'm enjoying this a lot more than I thought I would. Quote
Jazzmoose Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 Just finished rewatching the first set of the House of Cards trilogy. I remembered this as being damned good, but not this good. Great stuff! I wish I was more familiar with the work of Ian Richardson, though. I know most of his work was on the stage, but all I've seen him in is this and Marat/Sade. Quite a time gap there! Quote
kinuta Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 Castle S2E1 Don't quite know why but I like Castle. House Of Cards is great . Quote
kinuta Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 House S6E1-2 A great episode ! Quote
Matthew Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 Led Zeppelin. Disk one. There are so many things about this DVD I ab-sol-lutely love, it's not funny. I love the Danish TV session, where after a blazing rendition of Communication Breakdown, the first song, the audience, which look like they emptied out the local high school (about fifty teen-agers sitting crossed legged), just sits there stunned, and by the looks on their faces are saying to themselves: "WTF is this???". I love that even in Denmark, Page is in full blown Guitar God Mode. I love the Royal Albert Hall Concert, where Zep is already the coolest band on earth, and the coolest guitar player in that band is wearing a sweater vest!!!! I love that Bonzo is stone-cold crazy on the drums from day one. And I'm not even talking about what I love in disk two. Quote
AndrewHill Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 Locked Up Abroad on NatGO. Quote

Free For All Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 The Office I've become a fan. Quote
AllenLowe Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 good show but it tends to fall apart by way of over-the-top writing, I think. I'm watching The Policewomen of Broward County - lotsa marijuana busts tonight - making the world safe for alcoholism. Quote
AndrewHill Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 The Office I've become a fan. I swear this show gets funnier and funnier every season. The first two episodes had me in stitches! Quote
