Brothers Sun on Netflix was enjoyable. The previews come across as a gangster show, which it is, but it has some humor in it, if maybe more of the gallows type.

I liked it too. Hope there'll be another season.

I love that music so much.

Funny coincidence: Last weekend, I was in Pittsburgh, where "Mister Roger's Neighborhood" was made for all those years.  I was out wandering around in the Deutschtown neighborhood, and I stumbled across this mural painted on the side of a building:

Nice to see that sort of civic pride for Fred Rogers.  :)

Started Beacon 23.

The latest episode of All Creatures Great and Small. . . really got me.

I just finished episode 1 of the most recent season. I received an email from PBS that it’s been renewed for two more seasons.  Did you ever see the original series. That was quite good.

No, when the original series was on I was not watching TV and I find now that I really don't enjoy watching TV of that vintage that much. I've watched all of this new series though and really enjoyed it. Glad there are more seasons to come.

Watched the first two. It's OK, some clunky exposition. I'll continue I think

Many UK reviews called it slow, that was an attraction to me, I don't need everything to move on so quickly. Pacing is important.

If anybody ever does a Monk biopic., Wendell Pierce should play Monk.
