Dub Modal Posted July 21, 2021 Report Posted July 21, 2021 Watched Wonder Woman 1984 last night. Terrible movie. These superhero movies are really great demonstrations of overwrought propaganda. Quote
JSngry Posted July 21, 2021 Report Posted July 21, 2021 Superhero movies, propaganda? Surely you jest!!!!! Quote

Well-crafted documentary because of details and research. Quote
Jim Duckworth Posted July 24, 2021 Report Posted July 24, 2021 Nice documentary of Don Byas returning to the US and playing Lover Man with Thad Jones/Mel Lewis, I Remember Clifford in a quartet with Jo Jones, with Dizzy Gillespie's band and others as well as interacting with Louis and Duke.  Quote
JSngry Posted July 27, 2021 Report Posted July 27, 2021 Just signed up for the lo-budget version of Paramount + in which I was gobsmacked to find a significant archive of Comedy Central programs, as well as some other stuff, so, I am beginning to take on this, and episode or two a day, usually in the evening, before be, when the new has become redundant and/or stiflingly depressing. I recommend checking out "Evil" before the trial ends. It's one of my favorite current shows, a real hoot. Quote
