I've only watched one partial episode of The Leftovers this season. I think I might be happy about that but will probably go back and watch the entire season since it's the last one.

House Of Cards S5 . Now up to Ep10.

Convoluted and dark. Quite different to the previous series in some ways. The editing seems very choppy, the storyline complex- have the remote handy for quick rewind if you are prone to nodding off - and the tone uniformly sombre.

I will be watching episode 5 later today, but isn't it exactly over-intellectualizing Lynch that creates problems?

That might well be true. More accurately I can't be bothered investing the time and effort into something I clearly neither like nor comprehend. 

I did like Mulholland Drive very much but that had some kind of comprehensible although bizarre narrative to glue everything together and hold my attention from slipping into irritated apathy.
