Teasing the Korean Posted December 15 Report Posted December 15 Last night, we watched the Monkees Christmas episode, in which Butch Patrick (The Munsters) plays a young wealthy Scrooge. The episode ends with this: Quote

mjazzg Posted December 19 Report Posted December 19 Late as ever but very much enjoying 'Queen's Gambit'. And previously 'The Diplomat'. Neither fill the void left by the ending of 'The Mirror and The Light' but I'm not sure anything is going to. That was superlative television. Quote

I'm tempted to watch but so many of Marquez's images are the product of my imagination I'm not sure I want to see someone else's interpretation. Having said that, just upthread I rave about the TV adaptation of the Mantel books that are also amongst my all time favourites Edited Friday at 01:56 PM by mjazzg Quote

Have only watched the first episode. Would never have worked as a single movie. As a series has the potential to be excellent. Plan to continue forward with further episodes. IMHO you should give it a chance. Quote

sgcim Posted 11 hours ago Report Posted 11 hours ago Some iconic Black cowgirl and a bunch of Black cow people interrupting the Houston Baltimore game. Quote
felser Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago By far the best version of this. The script and Stewart's nuanced performance are both superb. Also watched the George C. Scott version, which is very different. Scott is much more over the top. Quote
JSngry Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago Denver/Phoenix NFL on Christmas? Someday, maybe, but noth games today were dull, at best. All five NBA games were quality entertainment. NFL on Christmas? Nah. Quote
