Shawn Posted May 5, 2013 Report Posted May 5, 2013 I didn't bother watching Hannibal, I was so burnt out on the character from all the films that I had zero interest in watching the show. I've already got plenty of serial killer stuff that I already watch, don't need anymore right now. Quote

jlhoots Posted May 11, 2013 Report Posted May 11, 2013 Top Of The Lake - Jane Campion Brilliant and very much recommended. More proof that well handled tv can surpass a lot of the dross palmed off as film these days. Don't get Sundance channel - waiting anxiously for the DVD. Quote

kinuta Posted May 12, 2013 Report Posted May 12, 2013 Elementary The idea seemed quite heretical and I didn't bother watching this for ages. I've started working my way through the first season and am pleased at how entertaining it is. Quote
jazzbo Posted May 12, 2013 Report Posted May 12, 2013 It's a good show. I was surprised. I like Liu in this. Nice looking woman with a great voice. And I like how they began with and developed her character. Quote
kinuta Posted May 14, 2013 Report Posted May 14, 2013 Family Tree HBO Really got into the first episode, the characters , dry humour and rich eccentricity held my attention for the 25 minute running time. Quote

I've started working my way through the first season and am pleased at how entertaining it is. I fell in love with this show immediately, I was hooked from the pilot episode and that hasn't wavered throughout the season. Jonny Lee Miller makes a great Sherlock and this is the best vehicle Liu has had in quite some time. Easily my favorite new broadcast show from this year. Quote
TedR Posted May 17, 2013 Report Posted May 17, 2013 Bleak House BBC Started rewatching this impressive classic. I've seen almost every BBC Dickens production and consider this one of the very best. Gillian Anderson also was impressive as Miss Haversham (sp?) in a recently televised Great Expectations. Quote
