SEK Posted March 27, 2005 Report Share Posted March 27, 2005 I chose bagels and lox (bagel toasted, with cream cheese or butter), because superior examples of both are very hard to find around here. Another classic combination is tomatoes and fresh basil. I look forward to summer, when a salad of tomatoes, fresh basil, olive oil, garlic, red pepper, and fresh mozzarella is more readily available. Oh wait... my wife sometimes reads this board. DOH! My favorite float combo is grape soda and vanilla ice cream. Or some sort of flavored syrup (that you use on pancakes... like blueberry or strawberry) and vanilla ice cream.
