Claude Posted March 7, 2005 Report Posted March 7, 2005 It is surprising for me why so many rare jazz albums are reissued in Japan only when there are so few jazz fans there Quote
mikeweil Posted March 7, 2005 Report Posted March 7, 2005 They don't need this board when all the stuff is at least temporarily available there - a substantial part of this board is rant about all the stuff that is not available ... Quote
A Lark Ascending Posted March 7, 2005 Report Posted March 7, 2005 (edited) The Midlands of England (only just, the North starts two miles up the road). I see myself as a sort of 21st century version of those soldiers on Hadrian's Wall. Keeping people like Tony from disturbing the civilised part of the country. Not to mention Clunky!!!! Clunky Posted March 9, 2005 Report Posted March 9, 2005 Hadrian's wall did a great job for many years keeping the English out of Scotland. That's part the reason we have a buoyant jazz scene of course. Quote

Guest che Posted March 22, 2005 Report Posted March 22, 2005 I'm just curious where people are. If you'd like to name your country, please do so. I've noticed an influx of more European members lately, which is a good thing! Just came to this thread. I have learnt a great dal in the time I have been here, coming from Europe there is a great deal of 'American Jazz. that I have not comer across. People like Africabrass are helping me with my re-education in thie respect I guess we can all learn something from each other. Che. Quote
