Ron S
I prefer the T-Bone splits. That's how I've been learning to play. And people wonder why there aren't many vintage Gibson hollow bodies around anymore.

Just don't get any ideas from Pete Townshend, Ron...

Joe G
Guitar Center was insanely Saturday afternoon noisy. I'm always amazed to find guys playing the same metal riffs I was playing in high school. 16 years ago. I was at Elderly a week ago, playing a Yamaha nylon-string practice guitar in the small room with all the acoustic amps, and after a while turned around to find a couple of metalheads standing at the door listening to me. If they only knew...
Joe G
I was at Elderly a week ago, playing a Yamaha nylon-string practice guitar... They're pretty cool, actually. Very comfortable the way it sits on your lap. The neck was too wide for my style, but the electric tone was pretty good. More money than I wanted to spend on a practice guitar to leave at work, though.

Joe G
The same could be said of me! Makes me shudder to think about those screeching Peavey amps in the concrete basement.

Joe, You really should check out the Agiles at Rondo Music. I'm very impressed with the $250 Cool Cat I received yesterday, and the brand seems to get great reviews on, e.g., harmony-central.com. And according to Jeff Blake, they have a very liberal return policy.

Jim Alfredson
Here's a stupid question: They make fretless basses. Do they make fretless guitars?
Joe G
Yeah, I like the look of the Agiles. Especially the ones Jeff designed.
