CJ Shearn Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 (edited) I had an emusic subscription and downloaded and burned maybe 25 or 30 albums. Do I have legal copies of the albums or would it suit me to buy the actual discs in time? These are the only burns in my collection outside of me making individual burns of albums in boxsets for convenience purposes. Edited February 28, 2005 by CJ Shearn Quote
RDK Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 (edited) Perfectly legal. eMusic is the only service that offers the usage flexibility that avid music fans demand -- unlimited CD burning along with the ability to transfer music to any desktop, portable music player and digital device (including the market leading iPod) Q: Do musicians and labels get paid for the songs I download? A: Yes. eMusic is a legal downloadable music service that compensates artists and labels for their work, without sacrificing convenience or low-cost. Edited February 28, 2005 by RDK Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted March 1, 2005 Report Posted March 1, 2005 Now, another issue is the quality. Remember that the stuff you downloaded are compressed mp3 files, not full .wav files. But if it doesn't bother you, don't worry about it. Quote
CJ Shearn Posted March 1, 2005 Author Report Posted March 1, 2005 (edited) they sound fine on my stereo Jim. (Technics amp and speakers and a DVD player) I don't hear any bogged down compression from MP3's. I can usually hear that stuff in the cymbals. Edited March 1, 2005 by CJ Shearn Quote
