LWayne Posted February 23, 2020 Report Posted February 23, 2020 Bumping this thread once more. Living in Pittsburgh, I have not heard rumors of his playing again in years. Any updates? LWayne Quote
Brad Posted March 6, 2020 Report Posted March 6, 2020 (edited) I don’t live that far from Somerville and I’m surprised that there was a recording studio there. In looking at the web I can’t tell if they still exist. One of the owners died a couple of years ago. One of his big claims to fame was recording Gladys Knight’s Midnight Train to Georgia there. Kevin Bresnahan Posted December 6, 2022 Report Posted December 6, 2022 Bumping this to the top... I was perusing a "What are you listening to now" thread and Kloss' name came up. Does anyone know how he's doing? Quote
Д.Д. Posted September 16 Report Posted September 16 There is a new first-ever CD release of a duo concert of Kloss with Barry Miles in Bremen in 1978: https://www.discogs.com/release/31022905-Eric-Kloss-Barry-Miles-Live-In-Bremen-1978-Vol-1 Vol. 2 is supposed to be released later this year. Quote
Niko Posted September 16 Report Posted September 16 knowing my fairy tales, it hurts to see the statue cropped at the first animal... either have the whole thing with all four animals in there or show two animals which then gives four musicians counting Kloss and Miles... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Town_Musicians_of_Bremen Quote
