Bumping this thread once more. Living in Pittsburgh, I have not heard rumors of his playing again in years.

I don’t live that far from Somerville and I’m surprised that there was a recording studio there. In looking at the web I can’t tell if they still exist. One of the owners died a couple of years ago. One of his big claims to fame was recording Gladys Knight’s Midnight Train to Georgia there.

There is a new first-ever CD release of a duo concert of Kloss with Barry Miles in Bremen in 1978:

knowing my fairy tales, it hurts to see the statue cropped at the first animal... either have the whole thing with all four animals in there or show two animals which then gives four musicians counting Kloss and Miles...

My kids love that fairy story. Not a favourite of mine but it speaks to them.
