Brownian Motion Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 (edited) Extrapolating from his current total of 203 posts after 5 days of Organissimo Board membership, Che will have nearly 15,000 posts by 2/16/06, the first anniversary of his first post. This total would tower over what any of the current champion posters have been able to achieve in TWICE that amount of time. This total would be roughly equivalent to Bobby Bonds socking about 125 homers this season. So the question becomes: Is Che taking something to enhance his performance? Joe G Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 Jazz Kat is up there too, with over 500 posts in less than 6 weeks. It's the new breed of bulletin board poster. Quote
JSngry Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 (edited) I'm seriously considering outsourcing to stay competitve. Either that or just not giving a damn. Whichever is less trouble. Edited February 21, 2005 by JSngry Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 There is an easy solution to this in order to preserve the status quo: The board posting leaders must make all their posts even more aggressive, so that che will not respond, thus protecting said posters positions as post leaders. Quote
catesta Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 I agree. We must be more aggressive! Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 I haven't seen anything worthy of response. Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 I knew you wouldn't let us down, Chuck! Quote
connoisseur series500 Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 Sprint racing and marathons require different energy. Jim S. is a marathoner. These sprinter-posters will have to keep it up for a long time. Too much life to live along the way. My money is still on the current leaders. Quote
jazzbo Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 Keep Jim supplied with stimulants and he'll never be bested! Quote
alankin Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 I'm just hoping to hit 1,000 posts before I retire... Quote

sheldonm Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 ...it's not just quantity but quality that counts in my mind.....this is not to say that my posts are of such quality but if you pull out the posts like: or this or this, many post totals would be substantially smaller ! Quote
Guest che Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 Oh you boys make it so easy B-) Che. Quote
sheldonm Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 Oh you boys make it so easy B-) Che. That (and this) is the kind of post that runs up post counts Mark Quote

Guest che Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 Oh you boys make it so easy B-) Che. That (and this) is the kind of post that runs up post counts Mark Well I try and post something meningful each time I post I have said before, that I use this board as a way to relax, I enjoy the stimulation and the ideas and the time people give top respond to some of ther post I send. In the short time I have been involved I have already connected with a few people. Hope this is worthy of the count Che. Quote
sheldonm Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 (edited) I guess if I would go along behind each post and each response and put a , my post count would sky rocket ! Mark Edited February 21, 2005 by sheldonm Quote
sheldonm Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 I've already added 4-5 to my post count on this topic and have said nothing of use to anyone! che, just bustin' your chops; welcome aboard! Mark Quote
Guest che Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 I'm not a fan of stats one way of the other, there are some big posters here and when I first saw the numbers, I wondered how they could post so many. Che. Quote

Mark That's what I'm talkin' bout! I know. I don't see the problem with using smilies and stuff to reply when words aren't really necessary. I just think they're a nice way to encourage a fellow poster. I gave up on trying to keep up on the post count game a long time ago. Quote
